Anything can happen in the dark…well, it can in House of Fraser as they have launched their new promotional activity of in-store events, discounts and activities to be known as ‘The Blackout’.
To support this exciting new concept we were asked to support and develop their execution and window schemes which included supplying over 600 curtains (that’s 7000m of black velvet and a lot of stitching), over 700m of faux leather flooring, bespoke printed branded balloons, hot pink carpets and very smart matt black ropes and posts for various stores nationwide. On top of that we have also produced bespoke neon signs for their top stores featuring the stunning hot pink ‘The Blackout’ logo all delivered in specially made super safe packaging! No-one wants a broken neon sign on their hands…
As usual, the studio has been non-stop ensuring the above elements were all allocated and delivery to each House of Fraser ahead of their event launch on Thursday. We are super proud to have been part of this set-up and think the stores are looking fab.
Also in the studio this week we have been prepping for a number of outdoor events coming up over the summer. It’s always a challenge to ensure that the materials and, well, the ideas themselves are suitable for all weathers because let’s face it – the UK doesn’t always have a sunny summer. With that in mind we have been looking at various fixings and finishes suitable for even the strongest of winds and heaviest of rain falls…just in case.
On top of this we have been feeling very Royal and patriotic what with a Royal baby being born on St. George’s Day and one or two projects underway regarding the forthcoming Royal Wedding – we are seeing union jacks in our sleep!
